The Park Ultra Lounge, Sacramento

The park is a joke. I went the the club this past Saturday for my friend's Birthday party. She had the VIP room and when I walked up to the gentleman/bouncer in his fake as wanna be name brand suit. I told him I was there for the VIP party and he looked at me up and down and told me to go to the back of the line. What a vain and conceited club. The music is crap. They don't play any music you can dance to and when I asked them to play hip hop they told me they don't want that kind of element in the club. The bouncer try to be all cool in their shoulder padded suits but they are just a-holes. Not only are the bartenders rude but the bartenders are rude also.

We were a group of sixteen people celebrating my birthday. We had dinner at Ma Jong’s restaurant and decided to get into the club after 8pm. We were sitting on one of the largest sofas located outside in the middle section of the lounge. Shortly after, one of the bouncers approached us asking us to relocate somewhere else because the sofa we were sitting on had just been sold for VIP. As good businessman, you know our group had the FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL in buying the VIP area, simply because we arrived there first. We proceeded to the inside of the club and found another big sofa located to your immediate left. Before proceeding to sitting there, we inquired with one of the bouncers about if this area was VIP. The bouncer responded that the couch we wanted to sit on was open, in other words, that sofa was not VIP.

Half an hour later, three bouncers approached us AGAIN, and asked us to relocate because they had just SOLD this area for VIP. We had the first RIGHT OF REFUSAL again and staff did not consider inquiring with us first if we were interested in buying the VIP. This VIP we were informed had just been sold. The bouncers demanded us to relocate again. When I approached one of the bouncers and inquired about buying the VIP, this is what he replied to me ‘Sorry, we just sold it to someone else, you and your friends have to move’. We were a big group of people consuming massive quantities of (@$* , and giving great tips to the bartenders. We did not deserve such rude and unprofessional treatment. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, the bouncers denied my request. It felt like a slap in the face! I cannot conceive this kind of treatment. We deserved to be treated with dignity, consideration and respect. The staff is no customer oriented whatsoever, we were treated like dirt criminals, or at least it felt this way. We are decent people who never asked to obtain anything for free. We just wanted to have a good time at your premises, but it seems your staff thought they were dealing with people their own kind.
